Purchase back issues of one of America's first punk magazines -- Take it! Magazine, originally published starting in 1981. Each issue contained a flexi-disc featuring underground bands.
Back issues 1-5 cost $20.00 each. Issue number 6 is $250 and by approval of the publisher only to collectors, libraries and institutions. Shipping and handling is $15.00 within the U.S (rate includes up to six issues). Inquire about international shipping rates (e.g. shipping to Germany is roughly $25 USD) for your desired quantity. Slam" issue introduces 1/2 Japanese plus coverage of The
Cale, Armand Schaubroeck and articles by Mick Farren, Richard Meltzer
and Ira Kaplan. Ultra rare Flexi-Disc contains songs from The Mutants
and 1/2 Japanese.
Take it! Magazine's "5 Star Issue" features the Dead Kennedys rare song "Nazi Punks" along with songs by Flipper and the Angry Samoans.
it! Magazine's "Issue 6" features Flesh Eater's lead singer, Chris D on the cover and contains the raw and rare Flexi-Disc with songs by Tex and the Horseheads "Got Love If You want it ; Meat Puppets "Teenager(s) and The Flesh Eater's "River of Fever."
